All three giant Queens of the seas bound for Australia

Cunard Line will send all three of its Queens to Australia in 2014 as part of a world voyage program spanning six continents and almost 80 destinations.

The ships - Queen Elizabeth, Queen Victoria and Queen Mary 2 - will visit during February and March, representing the first time all members of the royal triumvirate have visited Australia in the same season.

Between them, the liners will make 17 calls at Australian ports.

The Cunard ships are renowned for maintaining an atmosphere of old-world charm and luxury on board.

The Queen Elizabeth was launched in October 2010 and first visited Australia in early 2011. Its maiden world voyage was an a 103-day circumnavigation from Southampton, England, with whistle-stop tours in the US, the Pacific, New Zealand, Australia, Asia, the Middle East and Europe.

The 2014 program goes on sale on September 5.
