CAPE YORK'S BEST-KEPT SECRET IS Fruit Bat Falls, with water falling into beautiful freshwater pools that some say are the best swimming holes in Australia.

FLINDERS RANGES

KATHERINE

YOU MUSTN'T MISS walking on Wineglass Bay. People go to the lookout to gaze down, but you really need to step on the sand to get a feel for what it must have been like in the early whaling days. Then on for the circuit trek to Hazards Beach, through the wetlands, bush, amazing Aboriginal middens and back to the beach again.
