WILD NEW ZEALAND

New voyages recently released by Coral Expeditions will see its ship Coral Discoverer return to New Zealand. Two different itineraries showcase remote attractions best accessed by small ship such as sheltered sounds and glacial fiords and an active volcanic island. Passengers can get close to wildlife with the ship's expedition team on guided bush walks or kayaking adventures. The 12-night Auckland to Milford Sound itinerary departs on November 26, 2019, and the 10-night Milford Sound to Wellington itinerary departs on December 8, 2019, both visiting Fiordland National Park, among other destinations.

SAIL AWAY

Chartered yachting company Sunsail has just launched Sail by the Cabin in the Mediterranean, allowing holidaymakers to enjoy a sailing adventure without having to book a whole yacht. Instead, you can book a cabin for two on a skippered yacht, which sails in a flotilla of up to 10 other yachts. The charters are available in Greece and Croatia, with three seven-day holidays departing in September or October 2018. Each yacht hosts a maximum of nine people, and includes all sailing and navigation equipment and a skipper, as well as social evenings such as beach barbecues and punch parties.

The 20-day voyage departs from Ushuaia in Argentina on November 23, 2021, and also visits the Antarctic Peninsula, Falkland Islands and South Georgia. Shore excursions will be accompanied by naturalists, marine biologists, ornithologists and a photographer.
