Star Clippers has launched a seven-night ''Mamma Mia'' cruise on Star Flyer departing on several dates in May and June 2019 that explores Greek islands such as Skiathos and Skopelos where the first Mamma Mia! movie was shot. Movie locations include the old harbour at Skiathos, Kastani Beach on Skopelos, and Agios Ioannis Prodomos Monastery, one of the island's most beautiful landmarks and location of the wedding scene. The eastern Mediterranean sailing also takes guests to Athens, sleepy Turkish beach town Dikili, and Myrina on the Greek island of Limnos.

Luxury French cruise company Ponant has released a comprehensive range of 100 cruise departures for its nine ships between April and November 2019, ranging from short seven-night getaways to a 57-night ''Grand Voyage''. They span the world from the Arctic to Asia, Latin America to the Mediterranean, with expedition-style cruises exploring destinations such as Indonesia's Spice Islands, New Zealand's Sub-Antarctic Islands, the Northwest Passage and Greenland. Le Laperouse has an inaugural season of nine expeditions in the Kimberley. Also coming up are themed scuba-diving, music, wine and gastronomic cruises.
