EUROPEAN MARVELS

Travelmarvel has launched its 2019 European cruises, announcing new destinations, hop-on hop-off touring options on city stays, plus refurbishments across its river ships, including two dining options (formal and informal) for both lunch and dinner. New coastal cruising expeditions, meanwhile, head to Iceland, the Scottish Isles, Baltic Sea and fiords of Norway on the chartered ships Ocean Diamond or Serenissima. The Iceland circumnavigation itinerary crosses the Arctic Circle and visits waterfalls, lava fields and massive ice-cave filled glaciers, while the Scotland cruise explores the Orkney Islands, Inner and Outer Hebrides and Loch Ness.

Australian small-ship company Coral Expeditions has released cruises on its new expedition vessel Coral Adventurer. Its maiden voyage on April 24, 2019, will be one of a series of themed In the Trail of Tasman itineraries that retrace the explorations of Dutch explorer Abel Tasman, who was the first to map the coastlines of New Zealand, New Guinea and Northern Australia in the 17th century. The 18-night cruise begins in Singapore and finishes in Darwin, and makes visits to the famous volcanic island Krakatoa as well as Komodo Island and Pulau Alor for snorkelling.
