Some kids are just better than adults when it comes to skiing and snowboarding. Start them young and your bank account will be feeding their addiction for life. These little snow grommets put all of us to shame but at least we're better at après ski than they are, for now.

Four-year-old Kinsley's dad Steve Klassen from Mammoth in California may yet be the coolest dad around.

Helicopter parents look the other way you won't like what you see here, but Kinsley sure did when riding tandem with her dad. He throws her in the air like an AFL ball and she rides the air waves like an eagle.

Remember the name Oskar Schulz. This kid from Stanwell Park in Sydney will be skiing for Australia in slopestyle at an Olympics in the near future. This is him, last year, at 9 years of age.

They clearly eat fear for breakfast in this Estonian household. Siblings Kelly, 13, and Henry Sildaru, 8, will make you hang your head in skiing shame.

Bailey Duran first hit the YouTube airwaves at aged 4.

Then again at age 6.

Tom Goodhue is 12. That's all we need to say as this video speaks for itself.

Warren Miller ski films have long known the appeal of kids who ski and snowboard well with this feature in their 2008 Playground film.

There is good news for all snow-loving kids in Australia this weekend with talk of a snowstorm hitting the alpine regions from Friday to Monday with up to 60 centimetres of much-needed snow currently forecast. This could be the snow storm that turns the 2015 season around.
