BORNEO BOUND

Star Clippers is returning to Indonesia for the May to September 2019 cruise season, offering alternate seven-night cruises from Bali westbound to Java, and seven-night cruises eastbound to the Gili Islands and Komodo to encounter the island's famous dragons. Also available are two more in-depth cruises of 10 and 11 days. The company is also launching Borneo as a new cruise destination, with cruises beginning and ending in Kota Kinabalu and taking in Sarawak longhouses and Sabah's orangutans. Star Clippers is notable for offering cruises under sail, and operates three of the world's largest and tallest sailing vessels.

REFRESHED FLEET

Celebrity Cruises will spend more than US$500 million transforming Celebrity Millennium, Celebrity Constellation, Celebrity Infinity and Celebrity Summit from 2019 onwards, as well as upgrading some suites on other ships. Among the changes is a new, exclusive retreat for suite-class guests with a sundeck and lounge; redesigned cabins and luxurious new bedding; and a redesign of main restaurants and the addition of guest favourite Qsine speciality restaurant across the fleet. The transformation is also set to bring changes to some bars and lounges, and upgrades to public areas such as The Hideaway and The Library.
