She may not look like much, but she's got it where it counts.

Star Wars fans, rejoice. You can now enter a ship within a ship and feel what's it's like to be space rogue Han Solo (or Wookie sidekick Chewbacca) on board the iconic spaceship the Millennium Falcon.

Disney Cruise Lines has revealed that it will create a Star Wars-themed room on board its ship, the Disney Dream, ahead of the release of the film series' next sequel, Star Wars: The Force Awakens.

The room recreates the look and feel of the Millennium Falcon, including the cockpit, where many of the movies' famous scenes are set, from the ship's capture by the Death Star in the original film, to the asteroid chase in The Empire Strikes Back.

Disney promises visitors will be given a chance to "join the Rebel Alliance in the epic battle of good versus evil by assisting with the navigation of this powerful space vehicle".

The Millennium Falcon room is one of several enhancements the ship will undergo during dry dock in October this year, in Freeport, Bahamas. Others include a ice-cream and lolly shop based on the Sarah Silverman-voiced character Vanellope from Wreck-It Ralph, as well as a "princess and pirate" makeover salon.

Disney says Star Wars fans will also be able to participate in a Jedi Training Academy experience that invites young Jedi hopefuls to learn lightsaber moves from a Jedi master.

But adult fans of the Star Wars fans may be disappointed – the new Star Wars-themed room and activities are for the ship's Oceaneers Club, which is open to children aged three to 12 only.

Grown-ups will have to find consolation at Satellite Falls, an adults-only pool area.

The new features will first be enjoyed by guests on a four-night voyage beginning October 26 from Port Canaveral to the Bahamas and Disney's private island, Castaway Cay.
