Cruiseco is offering a 22-night "Wine & Romance Voyage" holiday package that opens with a land tour taking in Paris, Bordeaux, medieval walled city Carcassone and Barcelona, before guests board Azamara Quest on a 13-night cruise that finishes in Southampton. Along the way is an opportunity to visit Gibraltar, admire Lisbon, enjoy port wine and seafood in Porto, and sample the produce of France's fabled Bordeaux wine region. The cruise also visits the ports of Portimao, Bilbao and St Peter in the Channel Islands. The journey departs Australian on May 26, 2020.

MOON RISE
Silversea's new ship Silver Moon was floated out from its Italian shipyards for the first time recently. The luxury vessel will now have its interior fitted out. The ship makes its maiden voyage between Trieste and Civitavecchia (Rome) on August 6, 2020, and will spend its inaugural season in the Mediterranean, before crossing to the Americas in November. After visiting various destinations in Central America and the Caribbean, Silver Moon undertakes a circumnavigation of South America in early 2021 on a "Grand South America" voyage that visits 37 destinations in 20 countries.

Evergreen Cruises & Tours has launched its 2020-21 Egypt, Jordan and Israel journeys, among which are several that include river cruises along the Nile.
