The Walking Dead cruise ship: Set sail with zombies and stars aboard the Norwegian Pearl

Being trapped at sea on a ship with a bunch of would-be zombies sounds like a premise for a horror movie itself, but no, this is an actual thing confirmed to set sail from Miami, January 2016.
The Norwegian Pearl's newly-announced cruise will be a three-day zombie-themed adventure and will feature some of the cast members of the The Walking Dead.
A major drawcard for the cruise will be the presence of the show's biggest star, Norman Reedus, who plays the hillbilly with heart Daryl 'if Daryl-dies-we-riot' Dixon. Also on board will be Chandler Riggs (Carl), Sonequa Martin-Green (Sasha) and Christian Serratos (Rosita).
Characters already laid to rest such as cast favourite Emily Kinney (Beth), who shocked viewers with her bloody exit last season, will also be on board. Joining her will be former cast members Chad L. Coleman (Tyreese) and Lawrence Gilliard, Jr. (Bob). As the date draws closer, more celebrity guests may be announced.
And if it's anything like Walking Dead-themed horror nights at Universal Studios, you'll need to pack your running shoes as the normal cruise ship is transformed into a zombie apocalypse for three days of horror-filled fun.
The ship will leave Miami on January 15 and dock at Nassau, Bahamas on January 18… Pending on survival.

On board, 'superfans', as they have been monikered, will be entertained with Q&As, panels and more with the stars and the Walker Stalkers, the masterminds behind the cruise.
Participants will also get a chance to have their photo taken with the stars of the show, enjoy the 'complete zombie makeup experience', partake in zombie gaming, costume contests, theme nights plus more to be announced.
Prices start at $US750 ($A1,000) twin share, including all meals and amenities. For the 2,200 fans expected to board the ship, this is expected to be a once in a lifetime opportunity.
