I AM TRAVELLING TO KENYA, TANZANIA, SOUTH AFRICA, SWAZILAND, ZIMBABWE AND ZAMBIA. WHICH COUNTRIES NEED A VISA BEFORE DEPARTURE AND WHICH CAN WE GET AS AN E-VISA? V. COPPING, OATLEY NSW

If you're booked on a tour or via a travel agent the process of obtaining visas is simpler. If not you can either use a visa service such as Visalink (visalink.com.au) or take the less expensive DIY approach. To find out the visa requirements for each country you'll be visiting, go to the website of the consulate or embassy for that country. In the case of Tanzania, you can apply to the Honorary Consul in Perth (tanzaniaconsul.com). Do not rely on third party sites for correct information. As well as Tanzania, before departure you need to apply for an eVisa for Kenya. You will also need visas for Zambia and Zimbabwe, both of which can be obtained on entry.
