Travel tip: What's a good family-friendly resort to stay in Sunshine Coast?

WE INTEND TAKING OUR 16 CHILDREN AND THEIR FAMILIES TO A SUNSHINE COAST RESORT IN 2018 TO CELEBRATE A SIGNIFICANT BIRTHDAY. CAN YOU RECOMMEND A RESORT WITH FACILITIES TO KEEP KIDS AGED 5-14 ENTERTAINED FOR A WEEK? R. LEADER, BAULKHAM HILLS

One property that might work well for your large group is Peppers Noosa Resort and Villas [peppers.com.au]. At the quiet end of Hasting Street, this is a sprawling, sculptural, village-style complex rising on the hill that forms a cresting wave on Noosa's southern flank. There's a choice of apartments here, from one bedroom to four-bedroom deluxe villas with multiple bathrooms, flat-screen TVs and huge balconies with sea views. These are serviced apartments and the staff are great, there's a lap pool as well as a lagoon pool, a gym, a games room and a spa. The kitchens with each apartment or villa allow you to prepare some of your own meals if you want to but there's also a restaurant right on the premises. The beach is an easy stroll and the shops, restaurants and cafes of Noosa are close at hand.
