Traveller Talks with chef Luke Mangan and investigative journalist Kate McClymont: Traveller Tour launches new Eastern & Oriental railway journey
To mark the launch of our latest Traveller reader tour aboard the luxurious Eastern & Oriental Express between Singapore and Bangkok, we're holding a special pre-departure evening of tastes and tales from two fascinating personalities.
You're invited to join Kate McClymont, the legendary investigative reporter from The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age, and Luke Mangan, the popular and peripatetic celebrity chef, for a night of "crims and cuisine".
The event, hosted by Traveller editor, Anthony Dennis, will be held at Mangan's own Luke's Kitchen in Sydney's inner-city Waterloo.
Kate will talk about her career as a crack investigative reporter, having been responsible for an extraordinary number of scoops concerning the shadier side of Australian public life.
Luke will share stories about his long career as a leading chef and restaurateur and his travels and culinary inspirations around the globe.
