What if I pay for a cruise and the price later drops?

IF I BOOK AND PAY FOR A CRUISE AND LATER ON THE PRICE DROPS, AM I ENTITLED TO A REFUND OF THE DIFFERENCE?

…. according to Meg Hill, managing director of Cruise Express.

"Like airfares, cruise pricing is very dynamic, with fluctuations up or down due to factors such as cabin availability and other market variables. Some cruise lines do offer the flexibility to revise pricing if their fares drop.

Typically, the best fare available on the day you book will be the fare you pay but a travel agent can source the best deal for you. Early bookers enjoy the benefits of choosing the deck and cabin they want whereas late bookers may save some money but are allocated whatever cabins the cruise line has left to sell.

At Cruise Express, we have a strict policy that once one of our own, hosted cruise tours goes on sale, the fares won't be lowered. Anything we later add to a package we apply to everyone booked on the trip as we want all our clients to enjoy the same experience and entitlements. In all these matters, a good travel agent will help steer you through the minefield."
