Wirrulla - Culture and History

Wirrulla is a local Aboriginal name which probably means 'fast' or 'quick'. The town, like most small wheatbelt towns, grew up around the railhead and is still driven by the grain handling facilities it offers and the minimal services provided by the hotel and the general store.
