Adding to the growing number of offerings of island and hotel buyouts in a socially distanced reality is the luxury tented takeover by hotel group Aman at its properties in Indonesia, India and the United States.

Located on Indonesia's Moyo Island on 32,000 hectares of protected jungle, Amanwana's 12 guest tents can be booked exclusively for three or five nights with one night in a villa at Aman Nusa Dua, Bali.

The tents underneath a jungle canopy are steps from the water for snorkelling and diving, with Hawksbill and green sea turtles, parrot fish, dolphins and manta rays in those waters.

On shore, guests trek into the jungle of banyan and tamarind trees to waterfalls and finish with a session in the open-air spa with double treatment area, deep bath and standalone shower.

Meals are al fresco at the beachside restaurant or in the bar where guests can enjoy the local fishers' catch of the day.

Seclusion is also available in spades in India at Aman-i-Khas on the edge of Ranthambore National Park in rural Rajasthan.

The property's 10 Mughal-style tents feature airy living spaces, a deep soaking bathtub, ceramic pots handcrafted in Jodhpur and a sink made of gun metal from Hyderabad in Uttar Pradesh.

Daily Jeep safaris take guests into the national park in search of tigers, leopards, sloth bears, and spotted deer, and in the evening there's stargazing around the tree-lined swimming pool or beside the sunken fire pit.

Meanwhile, the newly minted Camp Sarika in the desert of Utah, United States, has 10 tented pavilions, a 30-minute hike or five minute drive from the suites and spa of original property Amangiri.

With unobstructed views of soaring mesas, the pavilions of one or two bedrooms and living area also have a private terrace with a fire pit and an individual heated plunge pool.

Guests can explore slot canyons by foot and mountain trails by horseback before returning to the spa suites for treatments inspired by traditional Navajo wellness practices.

Dates for A Camp of Your Own: Indonesia from January 2021; United States April-October, 2021; India, until May 2021. See aman.com
