Camplify is like an Airbnb for caravans and campervans

The idea for Camplify, the online booking platform for owners to rent their caravans and campervans to other holiday makers around the country, partly came about after its Newcastle owner Justin Hales struggled to find dog-friendly digs.

Today nearly half of its 5000 strong fleet welcomes four-legged friends and in the last 12 months, Camplify has seen an increase of 190 per cent in pet-friendly booking inquiries

From now until August, two of the dog friendly accommodations, Millie the Vintage Millard based in Long Jetty NSW and Van Morrison, which can be collected from Brunswick East in Victoria, will be further focused on dogs.

Matching pyjamas for humans and their four-legged friends, chew toy and dog blanket will be part of the welcome pack provided by Stylish Hound as well as a swim jacket, slow feeder and a selection of no-pull harnesses.

Millie, the 1974 Millard vintage caravan is ideal for coastal stays while upscale Volkswagen Van Morrison has a king bed movie projector, Nespresso, fridge and heating.

Elsewhere there's Tallulah the TroopCarrier in Western Australia and Jean the vintage pop-top in Queensland with an upcycled interior.

Launched in 2015, Camplify bookings can also be made in New Zealand, the UK and Spain.

Millie costs from $80 a day a person and Van Morrison from $160 a day, a person.
