Cheap flights from Australia to Asia: Scoot and Tigerair launch massive sale

Winter is coming: plan your escape before Scoot-Tigerair launch their massive sale on tickets to Asia on Thursday.

Called the "Take me where? Anywhere!" sale, you can grab a bargain fare to anywhere in southeast Asia.

The budget airlines are pushing their less well-travelled destinations such as Philippines and Myanmar, where along with their partners, are offering cheap deals on accommodation.

Flights to Yangon, Myanmar's capital, will be going for as little as $209 from Melbourne and Sydney, and accommodation at the Ibis Styles Yangon Stadium includes breakfast for $80 per night.

Alternatively you could head to the white-sand beaches of Boracay in the Philippines, where tickets are also going on sale for $209 from Sydney and Melbourne.

Popular destinations such as Thailand and the Malaysia will also be up for grabs.

You can snap up fares to Phuket for $179, or get to Langkawi for as little as $159 from Melbourne and Sydney.

The sale starts on Thursday April 20 at 12 noon AEST and runs for four days ending Monday 24 April at 1.59am.

For travel from Thursday until March 24, 2018 (some blackout periods apply). The above fares are one-way and don't include additional fees.
