Given current circumstances, this might be the craziest topic we've ever tackled on Flight of Fancy. What can you expect from travel in 2022? I emailed this question to one of our guests on this episode, Traveller's expert writer Michael Gebicki, and he responded saying: "Hahahahaha."

Because, who really knows what the next 12 months are going to bring us? Not so long ago you would have confidently predicted that this was the year travel would snap back, that the new normal would begin and we could all get back to seeing the world in a way that was relatively safe and predictable. And then a little thing called Omicron came along and the game changed completely.

Still, we can have a go, can't we? We can adjust to new circumstances and gaze into the crystal ball and figure out where we'll go this year, how we'll get there, and what we'll need to consider when we do.
