Coolmunda Dam
The major attraction in the area is the Coolmunda Dam which lies 20 km east of the town. A popular place for fishing, boating and water skiing it provides the Macintyre Brook, which runs through the town, with a permanent supply of water which has allowed for the development of grain and fodder crops and provided irrigated pastures for beef and fat lamb raising.
