Mitchelton Estate, Nagambie offers Airstream camper accommodation

The opening of the $16 million hotel at Mitchelton Estate in Nagambie in 2017 cemented the winery as a destination in its own right with 58 boutique rooms and day spa.

Now the property, just 90 minutes' drive from Melbourne, has another reason to visit, with seven new Airstream RVs arriving on the property for guests hankering for an outdoors experience with hotel comforts.

Set between the Goulburn River and the Estate, the inside of the campers' distinctive aluminium coachwork - first manufactured in the 1920s - includes private ensuite, stocked mini-bar, luxe linens and private deck with bush or vineyard views.

Airstream guests receive a breakfast hamper from Mitchelton's Provedore and can either dine at the Muse Restaurant with its modern farmhouse menu or order a dinner pack to cook in their Airstream.

Guests have access to all of the Estate including Australia's largest commercial gallery dedicated to Indigenous art, a pool and gym as well as the Day Spa.

Round out a stay at the popular cellar door with a seated and guided tasting of current release Mitchelton and Preece wines while learning about the estate's 50-year history.
