MY ONE DREAM DESTINATION IS STILL

Aitutaki, in the Cook Islands. I read Robinson Crusoe as a child and loved it, so when I discovered this quiet island more than 20 years ago I knew this was as close as I'd get to that childhood dream. In fact, I thought: "If anyone is ever crazy enough to ask me to marry them, this is where I'd choose for my honeymoon". Years later, he did and we went.

WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER I'M DREAMING OF VISITING

France. My COVID challenge was to sign up for French classes at the Alliance Francais and I'm all but dreaming in French now – I'm obsessed. Every element of France is calling my name.

MY DREAM TRAVEL BUBBLE DESTINATION IS

Taiwan was one of the happiest trips of my life, no doubt helped by the fact that I'd just found out I was pregnant before going, so I pretty much ate my way through this magnificent country. Like many, all I knew before going was the "Made In Taiwan" label, so to visit its Buddhist temples, make a wish at its famous Lantern Festival (which came true) and to mingle amongst its kind locals, was all a treat.

MY DREAM DOMESTIC DESTINATION IS

swimming with the whale sharks at Ningaloo, Western Australia. When I started on Getaway, we had a story on this experience that won awards for our cameraman, Chris Miller. It was otherworldly. Timing has never allowed me to go and now I'd just love to take my children.
