My dream destination: Musician Banoffee

MY ONE DREAM DESTINATION IS STILL …

Paris. I love how grimy it is but chic at the same time, the food is incredible, and I find the people so friendly (something not a lot of people say, but I tell you Parisians are friendly).

I first went in 2016 with my boyfriend at the time. We spent two weeks there and had lots of arguments that were all resolved by crepes, cheese and wine.

WHEN THIS IS ALL OVER I'M DREAMING OF VISITING …

Thailand. I really want to go to a training camp for Muay Thai and most of my lockdown time has been spent Googling places and planning for the future. I'm keen to meet the trainers that live and breathe the sport, and learn more self-discipline – I like putting myself in challenging situations.

MY DREAM TRAVEL BUBBLE DESTINATION IS …

Japan. I spent three weeks in Japan in 2019 and just fell in love with the place. Tokyo was my favourite spot. The people are incredibly kind, the food is fantastic and there's amazing music coming out of Japan as well. I'd love to go there and collaborate with some Japanese artists.

MY DREAM DOMESTIC DESTINATION IS …

Western Australia. It's one place I really haven't explored much. I've played shows in Western Australia before but I've never been able to hang around. I'd love to go explore and have a beach holiday somewhere.

MY DREAM DOMESTIC TRIP SO FAR HAS BEEN ...

I love going up the Great Ocean Road. Wye River is a favourite spot of mine. I also miss Sydney a lot. I used to go to Sydney quite often, but as of late haven't been able to make the trip. I am so looking forward to some travel this year and hopefully some touring if COVID allows.

Melbourne-born artist and producer, Martha Brown, AKA Banoffee plays the free "Valentines Day with Banoffee & Friends" concert at Melbourne's MPavilion, 1pm-5pm, February 14. See mpavilion.org
