A new glass floor at the Eiffel Tower in Paris is expected to draw more tourists to Paris's best-known landmark and entice them to visit the tower's often over-looked first level which sits 57 metres above ground.
Visitors will be able to look down through a solid glass floor to the 57 square metres below. The sensation of 'walking on air' is described as spectacular as the glass safety barriers around the edge have been designed to incline outwards.
