Penthouse Emporium Hotel, Brisbane, comes with a lift, Maserati and butler

A 15-metre infinity pool on your private balcony is a highlight.

A 15-metre infinity pool on your private balcony is a highlight.

It's not often you ride your own private lift to your hotel room. It's not often, either, you'll be driven around town in a Maserati, or have an Ambassador (let's just call them a butler, shall we?) at your beck-and-call 24-hours-a-day. Or have bottles of Remy Martin Louis 13 cognac in your private bar, or a 15-metre infinity pool on your private balcony.

Emporium Hotel South Bank have just launched Australia's newest luxury penthouse suite – now everyone can be Elton John (there is a baby grand piano… in case you were wondering).

Located on the 21st floor of the Emporium Hotel in South Bank Parklands (in inner Brisbane), the four-bedroom suite has three bathrooms and three dining rooms spread across 786 square metres.

The master bedroom has its own terrace and pool entrance.

There's a dining room for eight on a wrap-around alfresco balcony beside the pool, and a full-size commercial chef's kitchen inside. And consider a private yoga session on the balcony, or a couple's massage in the master bedroom, or a private dinner catered by the Emporium Hotel executive chef, Chris Norman.

If you make it outside, you're a short walk from Brisbane's CBD, city parks and the Brisbane River. Though you're already within one of Brisbane's premier entertainment districts, South Bank Parklands.
