We travelled to the Ross-shire Highlands of Scotland wanting to see the famous castle Eilean Donan. We drove some 70 miles to get there on a day when the weather was perfect for reflections. Parking our car near the bridge that runs across Long Loch we walked back towards Eilean Donan but what a surprise we got when we looked across the opposite site of the bridge where the village of Dornie was perfectly reflected in the mirror calm waters of Loch Long. It was well worth the 140 miles round trip that day.
