The Big Picture finalists: Readers' travel photo competition, November 2017

After hundreds of entries, a shortlist of finalists has been chosen for the seventh edition of Traveller's Big Picture competition.

The challenge, for amateur photographers, will see the overall winner and a partner or friend travel to Indochina courtesy of APT on a luxury Mekong River cruise valued at up to $10,990. The prize includes international flights up to $1500 a person and a seven-night Mekong River cruise aboard the RV AmaLotus between Siem Reap and Ho Chi Minh City. Highlights include Vietnam's  sacred Cao Dai Temple in the village of Long Hoa, rice paper-making in Cai Be and in Cambodia an authentic oxcart ride in Kampong Tralach. For the full itinerary, see
