The Dandenongs - Fast Facts

The Dandenongs (sometimes referred to as the Dandenong Ranges)
Popular and hugely attractive mountain area to the east of Melbourne.
The Dandenongs, or the Dandenong Ranges, are a collection of small towns and villages characterised by attractive houses nestled into the surrounding forests and some of the finest gardens in Australia.

In the Walkabout site the important towns and villages have all be separately listed and therefore it is necessary to explore the region by going to the following locations.

Belgrave, Emerald which also includes information about the villages of Cockatoo and Gembrook, Monbulk which includes information about the village of Silvan, Kallista, Olinda and Upper Ferntree Gully.
