Myf Warhurst.

Myf Warhurst.

NUMBER OF COUNTRIES VISITED 29, I think.

ANY PASSPORT MISHAPS/MISADVENTURES? Nothing that exciting, other than my pen leaked onto my passport on a flight to Indonesia and I almost didn't get let in when I arrived. Luckily the guards were lovely and I made it in time for my appointment with the villa pool in Bali. Phew!

I GOT MY FIRST PASSPORT WHEN I was 24.

MY PASSPORT PHOTO IS my serious face. I can't do serious face!

I CAN'T STOP GOING BACK TO Palm Springs. I love the mid-century architecture, the desert, the mountains, AND the fact that everyone who lives there is either from the '90s or is 90. And they're all in white three-quarter holiday pants. It's my spiritual home.

MY LAST TRAVEL DESTINATION WAS Phuket, Thailand, last year. I went with a bunch of friends and it was one of the most gorgeous relaxed times I've had in a long time. We ate, we drank, we swam and genuinely relaxed. I want to do it all again this year.

MY NEXT TRAVEL DESTINATION IS Tel Aviv, to host Eurovision, in May.

I'M REALLY LOOKING FORWARD TO seeing Tel Aviv come alive with the madness of Eurovision.

WHAT I REALLY WANT FROM MY NEXT TRIP IS to learn more about the history of that aforementioned region and also to try to understand the political issues confronting the area today.

I LOVE TO TRAVEL BECAUSE it forces you outside of your daily routine, which is amazing for incubating new ideas.

MY TRAVEL PHILOSOPHY IS plan a bit, but don't over plan. The best trips are when the unexpected happens.

THE ONE TRAVEL MISTAKE I ALWAYS MAKE IS I don't wear comfortable shoes. They look good though, and that counts, right?

THE ONE THING I REALLY DO GET RIGHT WHEN I TRAVEL IS booking good accommodation. If you're happy and safe where you sleep, all the rest is a breeze.

IF I HAD TO SIT IN THE MIDDLE SEAT THE OTHER PASSENGERS I'D WANT ON EITHER SIDE OF ME WOULD BE Patsy and Eddie from Ab Fab. For obvious reasons. What a flight that would be!

THE ONE FAMOUS TRAVELLER I REALLY ADMIRE IS my Eurovision co-host Joel Creasey, because he manages to get an upgrade on every flight. I need to learn the ways … In the meantime, I'll see you in Econo.

THE ONE FAMOUS PERSON I'D LIKE TO TRAVEL WITH IS George Clooney, just so I can stay at his amazing house on Lake Como. I'm sure he wouldn't mind at all.

AIRLINE FOOD IS not as bad as everyone thinks. I still get excited when the trolley rolls down the aisle. Someone's bringing me food! Amazing! Maybe it's the wine that comes with it? I'm not sure, but I seriously don't hate it.

AIRPORT SECURITY IS sometimes annoying when I'm cutting it fine to catch a flight, but otherwise fine. Get in line and let it happen.

HOTELS ARE HEAVEN Anywhere where there are clean sheets that I didn't have to wash, has someone who can bring me food at the end of a phone line, and has a fully-stocked fridge, is my idea of wonderful. And just being in a hotel room gives me a sense of escape, even on work trips.

I'VE ALWAYS WANTED TO GO TO Egypt to see the Pyramids. For obvious reasons. I still look at pics of them and struggle to fathom how on earth? I want to see that one day.

I'VE NEVER WANTED TO GO TO Mars. I'd rather keep exploring here, thanks.

AISLE OR WINDOW? Aisle for long trips so I don't have to climb over people if I need to go to the loo after a few wines. Seems fairer for everyone
