The Spontaneity Suite: HotelTonight offers $32,000 pop-up hotel room for $99 a night

Adventurous travellers looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience will be able to book a night in a purpose-built, pop-up hotel room valued at $32,000 in Victoria's Yarra Valley.

The pop-up hotel room, dubbed "The Spontaneity Suite", is a joint venture between HotelTonight, a newly-launched hotel booking app in Australia, and Ovolo Hotels, who are fully servicing the suite.

The suite is made up of two shipping containers decked out with all the mod cons, including a rooftop jacuzzi and terrace, cocktail station, Apple TV and floor-to-ceiling glass frontage from which to enjoy sweeping panoramas of the surrounding vineyards.

The price includes return limousine transfers from Melbourne, all inclusive meals and minibar, a wine-tasting tour at the TarraWarra Estate, and the services of a personal mobile concierge.

HotelTonight Regional Director for Asia Pacific, Stefan Cordiner, said the brand came up with the idea of creating a roaming boutique-style suite to "satisfy Australians' sense of adventure for exploring their own backyard".

"The aim was to offer an intrepid yet comfortable experience to create the perfect night of escapism. We're on a quest to make travelling more fun so thought it was fitting to deliver this unique luxury accommodation".

Available only through the app, travellers will be able to book a one-night stay for $99 between August 27 and August 31.

The suite will be available for one extra night on September 1, when the price will drop by $1000 from $32,000 every ten minutes until it has sold.

All money raised from the suite will be donated to food rescue charity OzHarvest.

The suite will then move on to a secret location in Sydney prior to epic locations around Australia.
