You're not going wine-tasting in France any time soon. Sorry, but that's the truth. You're not going outdoor adventuring in Canada. You're not going street-food feasting in Thailand. The world has changed, and for now, we're restricted to only seeing a small part of it.

But that doesn't mean the fun has to stop. It also doesn't mean that those wild and amazing experiences you had planned to enjoy overseas this year – wild and amazing experiences you've probably had to cancel or put on hold given current coronavirus restrictions – can't be achieved right here at home. On this episode of Flight of Fancy, the Traveller.com.au podcast, host Ben Groundwater is joined by fellow travellers Ute Junker and Sue Williams to do something a little different. The trio are taking all of those amazing experiences you may have been planning to have overseas this year, and they're figuring out how to do them in Australia and New Zealand instead.

They're going to fulfil your travel dreams, only with less actual travel, and more support for locals who have been hit hard by the events of the last six months or so. And in doing so, they're going to show you just how much the Antipodes as a travel destination has to offer.
