Big snow dump: Perfect weekend to head to the snow

Going to the snows this weekend? New South Wales and Victoria has received a huge snow dump this week, which explains the sudden drop in temperatures.

Mt Buller received fresh snow of up to 8cm across the resort on Tuesday, with snow revellers heading out on Bourke St for some pow turns, or flying down the toboggan slope. The snow is forecast to continue falling through until Thursday, with sunny breaks scheduled for Friday and Saturday.

Perisher received 35cm of snow fallen overnight on Wednesday, bringing the total snowfall to 50cm in the past 24 hours from Tuesday.
