Delta Airlines is in trouble again.

This time the American company - along with Diet Coke - has had to apologise for handing out "creepy" napkins on flights, encouraging fliers to flirt with other passengers.

One of the napkins said "Be a little old school. Write down your number and give it to your plane crush. You never know..."

But one passenger said what the companies had done was "Not a good look."

"Hey @Delta and @CocaCola. These napkins are creepy AF.

"Pretty sure no one appreciated unsolicited phone numbers in the 'good old days' and they sure as heck don't want the number of someone who has been gawking at them on a plane for hours today," the passenger said.

The Insider reported that Delta Airlines had apologised for the napkins saying they had "missed the mark."

Coca-Cola had also put out a statement in which they apologised to anyone they'd offended.

"We worked with our partners at Delta to begin removing the napkins last month and are replacing them with other designs."
