70 km south of Melbourne on the southern rim of Port Phillip Bay, Dromana is a holiday resort of some 6600 people with its beaches situated at the foot of Arthurs Seat - a steep granite hill (305 metres above sea-level) which can be ascended by road, walking track or chairlift.
